I actually just read a small
I actually just read a small zine about the Maroons and their struggle for a free existence throughout North America, the Caribbean, and even the coast of South America. It was amazing historical perspective, and author did well to describe how the heritage and struggle of the Maroons laid the foundation for Underground Railroad of the 1800's.
